About the Role
Onyx Bespoke Joinery is looking for a reliable, hardworking Workshop Labourer to join our growing team. You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of our bespoke joinery workshop, assisting with manufacturing, preparation, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in high standards, and wants to develop their skills within a premium bespoke joinery business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the workshop team with the manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery.
- Load, unload and safely move materials throughout the workshop.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised at all times.
- Prepare materials for production and assist with finishing tasks.
- Help with packing and preparing completed projects for delivery.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a joinery, woodworking, construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials safely.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Punctual, reliable and eager to learn.
- A qualification in Carpentry or Joinery is advantageous but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence.
