Recovery Support Worker

Pay: From Real Living Wage upwards, depending on relevant experience

Excel Housing Solutions is looking for a motivated and compassionate Recovery Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support clients in line with our values and help reduce the risk of homelessness, poor health, offending, and harm within the community.

No previous experience in this role is required because full training will be provided. What matters most is your ability to communicate in a focused, calm, and solution-based way, while supporting people with empathy and professionalism.

About the role

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will work directly with clients and alongside statutory agencies to help individuals maintain stability and move towards positive outcomes. This role requires someone who is organised, flexible, and able to respond confidently to a range of situations.

What you’ll do

Support clients in line with Excel Housing Solutions’ ethos and values
Work in partnership with statutory agencies and other professionals
Help reduce the risk of homelessness, health issues, offending, and harm to the wider community
Build positive, professional relationships with clients
Respond calmly and appropriately to the needs and challenges that arise in day-to-day support work
Follow all safeguarding, lone working, and confidentiality policies

Good organisation skills and flexibility
The ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations professionally
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable people

No direct experience is required, as full training will be given.
