We are looking for a creative, visionary leader to shape the next chapter at this 94 bedroom hotel in the picturesque location of Clifton Village.

With a bustling FB and banqueting operation and busy leisure club, this is the ideal property for an established hotel manager to level-up, enjoying a multi-faceted role that offers real opportunity for personal growth.

This is a role for a highly visible leader who enjoys leading from the front, building links with the local community and creating a culture where people feel supported, trained and inspired to deliver their best every day.

With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will support your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey. Creative thinking, commercial drive and a genuine commitment to developing, supporting and inspiring your team will serve you well as you lead this fantastic property.

This role reports to the Regional General Manager.

About the role

You are responsible for overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations while driving the hotel’s commercial performance and long-term success. Guiding and nurturing your team, you ensure all revenue, guest satisfaction and brand targets are met.

Duties include:

Managing budgets and controlling expenditure
Recruiting, training and managing hotel employees.
Developing the team of committed HODs, preparing them for their next step, while ensuring a succession plan is in place for each role.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and licensing laws, as well as maintaining property and amenities.
Continuously improving business operations through standard procedures, maximising revenue and monitoring employee performance.
Identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen the hotel’s local reputation and maximise the potential of every department.

Operational Expertise: A strong understanding of Front Office, FB, Banqueting and Leisure Club operations.
Solution Driven: In all situations, your main goal is to provide as quick, clear and effective a solution as possible.
Customer Centric: Dedication to ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and experience.
Innovative and Detail Oriented: Proactive in seeking opportunities to improve service delivery and maximise revenue, with a keen eye for detail in overseeing property maintenance, health and safety and compliance
Team Builder: You enjoy recruiting, developing and empowering people, creating a confident team culture where individuals grow and the whole hotel succeeds.

The successful applicant will be offered a role subject to eligible Right to Work and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role also requires the successful candidate to hold (or be willing to obtain) a personal licence and act as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS). The company will cover the cost, and your consent will be required before appointment.
