Full job description

Reports To

Production Supervisor

Job Purpose

To manufacture high-quality aluminium windows in accordance with production schedules, technical drawings, and company quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble aluminium window frames, sashes, and related components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules.
Cut, machine, and assemble aluminium profiles using workshop machinery and hand tools.
Fit hardware, gaskets, glazing beads, locks, hinges, handles, and other window components.
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Operate machinery safely and report any faults or defects.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Previous experience in aluminium window fabrication.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Good measuring and assembly skills.
Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Experience with aluminium systems such as Smart Systems, AluK, Reynaers, Schüco, or Senior Architectural Systems.
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

Personal Attributes

Reliable and punctual.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Able to work efficiently to production deadlines.
