Male Age below 30 Physically Big Support Worker – Children's Home

We are seeking a Male Physically Big Support Worker to work with children and young people in a residential care setting.

This role is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy being active, engaging young people in sports, outdoor activities, and positive physical pursuits, while providing high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a Children’s Home or Supported Living setting.
Experience supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, autism, or learning disability needs is desirable.
Able to build positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible and willing to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends,
Able to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.

Duties:

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
Promote independence, education, and positive outcomes.
Complete daily records and reports accurately.
Support young people with activities, appointments, and daily living tasks.
Work in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Essential:

Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS certificate on update service
Previous care/support work experience.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Work Location: In person
