Full job description

We are looking for a Electrical site supervisor to work on a project to manage and assess the day to day workload and potential safety hazards on site.

Candidates must have recent new build residential experience working on large scale projects, some electrical knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with sub-contractors.

· Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors and directly employed staff ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.

· Ensure material requisitions are issued in adequate time.

· Schedule, control and monitor all plant and materials on a weekly basis.

· Ensure all work is completed to programme.

· Liaise Site Management, variations and confirmation of instructions.

· Maintain quality and environmental control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001.

· Issue permits to work

· Carrying out Daily Safe starts (Dynamic Risk Assessment)

Booking wages weekly

Required knowledge and skills:

· CSCS

· SSSTS/SMSTS

· Excellent managerial skills

· Good IT skills conversant with Microsoft Office and tablet based apps, experience of Causeway preferred but not essential training will be provided if required

· Experience working on Large Scale New Build Apartments contracts working with Tier 1 and 2 contractors

· Experience managing a large team of operatives

· Reliable / good time management skills

· Good communication skills and literate in English

· Physical fitness

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £240.00-£270.00 per day
