- We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Diagnostic Radiographer to join our imaging department at Kingston Hospital .
- This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or experienced radiographer to develop their skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
- The department provides a full range of diagnostic studies. The service currently undertakes more than 300,000 examinations per annum and has access to a full complement of imaging modalities.
- As a band 5 Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality imaging services across a range of modalities, including general radiography, theatres, and fluoroscopy, with opportunities to rotate into CT, Dental and Nuclear Medicine depending on service needs.
- You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the safe and effective care of patients while producing diagnostic images to support accurate clinical decision making.

- The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality imaging services to support patient diagnosis and care.
- The role involves undertaking a broad range of imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety, dignity and comfort, and offers opportunities for skill development and progression into specialist areas.
- The post holder will assess/treat their own workload of patients/clients and maintain associated records and also supervise Radiology assistants, support workers and students working with the post holder
- The post-holder would be expected to participate in the departments shift system.
