Your Role
As the Brand Manager, you are responsible for Natures Menu Masterbrand across our entire ecosystem. Reporting to the Masterbrand Marketing Manager, you will be the brand guardian and will lead the strategy and execution of our presence across all touchpoints including packaging, campaigns, communications and online.
Your role is to ensure consistency across all channels, monitor brand performance and recommend improvements. The brand is undergoing a step change and we’re working hard as a team to build a brand platform which drives awareness and advocacy, and educates pet parents online, on social and in the "bricks and mortar" trade shops of our retail partners.
It will be your mission is to lead the brand evolution across UK market—from a niche offline brand to a household name that wins with both existing and the next generation of British pet parents.
You will bridge the gap between Masterbrand and D2C team, ensuring marketing is a primary driver of sales growth across D2C, e-Commerce and future online channels. You will need to be a strategic thinker who can craft the digital vision for the brand long term but also have the executional grip and local understanding on how best to execute this marketing plan within the UK. You will work across the B2C and D2C channels to ensure unified brand experience that resonates with pet parents across all touchpoints.
What you will do
BRAND
Consumer Voice: Your responsibility is to fully immerse and understand the various nuances of the UK pet owner and become the key voice of the online shopper within the organisation. You need to understand local digital trends, online shopping habits and consumers preferences in order to translate these into insights and actions.
Masterbrand execution lead in Digital: roll out the evolution of the Masterbrand visual identity across all channels and platforms. Responsible for new Masterbrand campaign asset development, execution and measurement and consistent evolution over the coming years. Work alongside the D2C team and Global E-Commerce to ensure that our execution in these channels is on brand and aligns to business goals and objectives.
Masterbrand execution lead in Packaging: roll out the evolution of the Masterbrand visual identity across a subset of our physical products, working with the Masterbrand Marketing Manager on design, delivery and execution.
SOCIAL, CREATIVE & CAMPAIGNS
Content & social media: Lead the relationship with our social agency, oversee the social media calendar, ensuring our content is engaging, educational, and platform-specific. You will translate complex nutritional science into "scroll-stopping" digital assets.
Creative Agency Management: Lead the relationships with creative, design, and PR agencies to deliver high-impact work on time and within budget. Ensure consistency both in internal and external communications.
BUDGET & ANALYTICS
Budget Accountability: Ownership of Masterbrand budget
Analytics & Reporting: Own the digital dashboard. You will provide the Head of Marketing and the SLT with clear insights into online performance
What we are looking for
- Brand Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in a brand or marketing role within FMCG, or the pet industry. You are comfortable running a full end to end campaign.
- Strategic Storyteller: You have a gift for taking complex product features (e.g., high-pressure processing or freeze-drying) and turning them into a simple, compelling brand story.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: You are comfortable dealing with a number of projects on the go at any one time. You are able to work cross-functionally, ensuring communications are consistent, the brand is well represented and all D2C technical elements are aligned.
- Design & eye for detail across all touchpoints: A high level of visual literacy; you can provide constructive, detailed feedback on design, photography, and film.
- Creative Agility: You understand what makes a creative asset successful. You can brief a creative team effectively and aren't afraid to "A/B test" everything from headlines to video formats.
- Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working cross-functionally, particularly with the agencies and D2C teams, to ensure the brand comes to life consistently.
- Omnichannel Thinker: You understand that digital marketing isn't just for online sales; you know how to use digital tools to drive footfall into physical trade shops.
- A Desire to Win: You understand how brand fits in to the wider business
- Passion for Pets: A genuine interest in the science of pet nutrition and the emotional bond between pets and their owners.
Location: London Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
