Full job description

Packing Centre Operative

Location: Seagrave Road, Sileby

We are currently recruiting for operatives to join our Packing Centre team based in Sileby. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, automated environment as part of a friendly and supportive team of approximately 20 colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

Roles include (full training provided):

Operating robotic egg packers (with occasional manual packing on lanes if required)
Operating the robotic un-stacker and loading equipment to the main grader
Operating denesters and loading packaging materials into machinery

Flexibility is essential, as duties may vary depending on business needs.

Applicants must be:

Reliable and punctual
Able to work well as part of a team
Willing to follow instructions carefully
Motivated and hard-working
Flexible in their approach to work

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Regular day shifts
Minimum 40 hours per week (typically 40–45 hours)
Start times usually between 7:00am–8:00am
Finish times usually between 5:00pm–6:00pm
Hours may vary depending on business requirements

Starting pay at National Minimum Wage (NMW)

Weekly egg allowance
