Full job description

Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a team and support the delivery of major civil engineering projects. You will manage day-to-day site engineering, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately, and to specification. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with strong setting out experience, QA knowledge, and AutoCAD skills.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day setting out in line with design drawings
Produce and maintain accurate as-built surveys and records
Prepare and complete QA documentation and inspection records
Supervise works on site to ensure safety and quality standards
Maintain site records including daily diaries and progress notes
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and designers to resolve technical queries

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
Strong setting out experience using Total Stations and GPS
Experience producing as-built records and managing QA documentation
Competent in AutoCAD
Good understanding of construction methods and specifications
Strong organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations
Relevant qualification such as HND, HNC, or Level 6 degree, or equivalent experience
Valid MAPs (Managers and Professionals HSE Test) certification
