Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Aspen Ireland is a leading construction and fit-out contractor based in Holywood, County Down, delivering high-quality building projects across Northern Ireland. Our work spans residential developments, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and bespoke refurbishments. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of construction projects from tender stage through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple projects.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
Undertake tendering and procurement of subcontract packages and materials.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate terms and conditions.
Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor and report on project costs, margins, and progress to senior management.
Provide accurate and timely cost advice and risk analysis to project teams.
Liaise with clients, design teams, and site management to ensure smooth project delivery.

Essential Criteria

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or equivalent).
Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably with a main contractor.
Proven experience managing commercial aspects of medium-to-large construction projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.

Desirable Criteria

Chartered status (MRICS or working towards chartership).

£55,000- £75,000 per year.
