Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Customer Service/Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting sales initiatives across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organised, and have a keen interest in developing their sales and customer service expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast paced, on site environment while contributing to the growth of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers via phone, email, and digital channels to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Assist in promoting and selling products or services, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
Negotiate terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
Manage B2B sales relationships, fostering long-term partnerships
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using IT systems
Support the organisation of sales campaigns and promotional events
Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally
Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve overall service delivery

Experience

Experience in an office based customer service or sales role is preferred; full training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade effectively
Experience in B2B sales is advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in IT systems, including Sage 50 Accounts, ERP software (ideally Odoo), and Microsoft Office is a plus
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks

Pay: £13.46-£15.48 per hour
