Full job description

Job Summary

To support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store whilst contributing to the delivery of the Company’s strategic and commercial objectives. To lead by example, drive standards, and ensure consistent execution of operational, people and commercial processes.

Reporting to: Store Manager

Store Operations & Compliance

Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations in line with company procedures.
Ensure operational processes are followed and escalated where required.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, security and cash handling.
Support completion of administrative tasks and reporting.

Stock Management

Support ordering and replenishment processes.
Ensure merchandising reflects best sellers, trends and VM guidelines.
Maintain an organised and efficient stockroom.
Monitor stock availability and escalate issues.

Commercial & Sales Performance

Support delivery of sales targets and KPI results.
Use product knowledge and commercial information to drive sales.
Support marketing initiatives and promotional activity.
Contribute to performance analysis and action plans.
Drive productivity and cash per unit on the shop floor.

Visual Merchandising & Image

Maintain store image to EDIKTED brand standards.
Ensure mannequins, tables, shelves and windows are presented correctly.
Support layout changes and VM updates.

People Management & Development

Support recruitment, inductions and training.
Coach and support team members on the shop floor.
Contribute to performance reviews and development plans.
Support management of sickness, absence, lateness and ER processes.
Act as a role model for behavior and standards.

Communication

Maintain clear communication with Store Manager and team.
Escalate information when required.
Provide feedback on product, performance and operational matters.

Cost & Hours Control

Support payroll budget management.
Assist with rota planning.
Help control store costs.

Customer Experience

Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service.
Ensure service standards are followed consistently.
Support customer service action plans.
Take ownership of customer queries and complaints
Coach and support team members on the shop floor.
Contribute to performance reviews and development plans.
Support management of sickness, absence, lateness and ER processes.
Act as a role model for behavior and standards.

Competitor & Market Awareness

Maintain awareness of competitors and market trends.
Share relevant feedback with Store Manager.
