Job Role: Accounts Payable Assistant

Location: Cookstown, Head office

LCC Group has established itself as a leading player within the energy supply market across the UK, Ireland and Europe. The business is an independent family-owned company which provides a range of services spanning various energy sectors across the world.

LCC Group now supplies coal, oil, electricity, gas and logistic services to homes across the UK and industry all over the world.

The Opportunity

Due to growth across the business, an opportunity has arisen within Head Office Finance team for an Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Working as part of the Accounts team to process invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments, respond to supplier queries on a timely basis and assist with the month end process. The role will be based in the Head Office in Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

· Matching purchase orders

· Processing purchase invoices and monthly supplier statement reconciliations

· Reconcile company bank accounts in various currencies

· Assist with preparation of accounts

· Reconciliation of intercompany balances

· Maintenance of control accounts

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

· Payroll duties (previous experience is desirable but not essential)

· Ad hoc duties as and when required

Our Ideal Candidate

· Previous work experience in a similar role.

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Proficiency in MS Excel

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

About the Role

· Full-time permanent role

· Fully office based. This role does not include the option to work remotely
