Full job description

Chime HR Ltd is expanding its services and is looking for an experienced Payroll & HR Manager to establish and manage our new payroll service.

This is a 20 hour per week position. Initially, you will be responsible for setting up the payroll function using BrightPay, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements, and developing efficient payroll processes. As our client base grows, you will manage payroll services for our clients.

In addition to payroll, you will provide administration to the business as required.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and manage the company's payroll service using BrightPay.
Process payroll accurately and on time for clients.
Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, pensions and statutory payroll requirements.
Maintain accurate payroll records.
Develop payroll systems, processes and procedures.
Provide HR administration support,
Advise the business on payroll best practice.

Essential Requirements

At least two years' payroll experience.
Experience using BrightPay payroll software desirable
Good knowledge of PAYE, pensions, statutory payments and HMRC requirements.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the payroll function.
