Full job description

Senior Buyer

(Ryman Own Brand & Ryman Design)

Based in our London Graphic Centre Office, Covent Garden with regular travel to Crewe Ryman Retail Support Centre

What you’ll be doing

Owning the buying strategy for Ryman Own Brand and Ryman Design, creating ranges that excite customers and drive growth.
Leading product development from concept through to launch, including sourcing, supplier negotiations, packaging and quality.
Managing category budgets, sales, margin and stock performance to deliver commercial results.
Building strong global supplier partnerships, with a focus on Far East sourcing and innovation.
Using market trends and customer insight to identify new product opportunities.
Presenting strategies and performance updates to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in a senior buying role, ideally within own brand, stationery, lifestyle or consumer products.
Strong knowledge of product sourcing, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
Experience managing budgets and delivering against sales, margin and stock targets.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn insight into action.
Confidence influencing stakeholders and presenting at senior level.
A creative, commercial mindset with a passion for products and trends.
