Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private residences and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, welcoming spaces.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, paying particular attention to kitchens and bathrooms
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or damages
Follow specific client instructions regarding cleaning preferences and special requests
Maintain organisational standards of cleanliness in storage areas and cleaning equipment
Occasionally assist with light cooking or food preparation tasks as required by clients
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to client needs

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning services, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
Experience with cooking or food preparation is a plus but not essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Excellent communication service skills with a friendly and professional attitude towards our clients
Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client requirements
