Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Laminate Flooring Installer to join our construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality laminate flooring in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results that enhance our clients' environments. Responsibilities

Prepare subfloor surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and assessing for proper installation
Measure and cut laminate flooring materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
Install laminate flooring planks according to schematics, manufacturer instructions, and project specifications
Use carpentry skills to create precise cuts around obstacles such as doorways and vents
Apply construction painting techniques when necessary for finishing touches or transitions
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently throughout the installation process
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards
Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring seamless fit and finish
Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and organizing tools after each project

Experience

Proven experience in construction or carpentry work, with a focus on flooring installation preferred
Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, and measuring devices
Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings related to flooring projects
Knowledge of construction painting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory
Experience operating power tools safely in a construction setting is essential
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and schematics accurately
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
