Join the UK’s Market Leader in Security Product Distribution

Aldridge Security is the largest trade-only security wholesaler in the UK and Ireland, with over 75 years of experience and more than 25,000 products from 300 suppliers. Our portfolio spans Access Control, Ironmongery & Hardware, Key Cutting, Locking Solutions, Locksmith Tools, and UPVC products.

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Manchester branch. Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth, supporting existing customers, and developing new business opportunities within the security products sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales through proactive and reactive customer engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing first-class service and support.
Develop structured area plans to manage and prioritise sales activity.
Handle incoming sales enquiries efficiently and professionally.
Identify new business opportunities, open new accounts, and expand our customer base.
Support the day-to-day running of the ManchesterTrade Counter, assisting during busy periods or absences.
Maintain accurate CRM and administrative records including call reports and market feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to create customer value and share best practice.

About You

Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build quick rapport.
Organised, methodical, and self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
Confident, friendly, and professional manner.
Positive attitude with resilience and perseverance.
Previous experience in sales or account management is essential.
Knowledge of the Security Products or Wholesale industry is advantageous but not essential.
