Job Summary

We are seeking 5 vigilant and professional Close Protection Officers to ensure the safety and security of a high-profile client in Manchester. The successful candidatse will be responsible for providing discreet, effective security measures, conducting surveillance, and maintaining a secure environment at all times. This role requires excellent observational skills, quick decision-making, and a calm demeanour under pressure. The position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a dynamic security team dedicated to client protection.

Responsibilities

Provide close protection services to clients, ensuring their safety during travel and at designated locations
Conduct surveillance activities using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to identify potential threats or suspicious behaviour
Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and minimise risks
Monitor surroundings continuously for security breaches or unusual activity, responding swiftly to any incidents
Assist with first aid procedures when necessary, maintaining readiness for emergency situations
Maintain detailed reports of security activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and review purposes
Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to manage security incidents effectively
Ensure all security equipment is operational and conduct routine checks to maintain high standards of safety

Qualifications

Proven experience in close protection, security, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is essential
Familiarity with loss prevention methods and threat assessment procedures
First aid certification is highly desirable; candidates should be prepared to respond to medical emergencies if needed
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert over extended periods
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
Valid security licence or certification as mandated by local regulations is essential
