Overall Purpose Of The Job
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering the marketing strategy across the TKO:LIVE portfolio, with a particular focus on digital marketing, social media and audience development, alongside overseeing non-digital campaigns.
Reporting to the Head of Live Music, the Marketing Manager will be a key member of Team Tokyo, working closely with the wider Live Music, Venue and Marketing teams to deliver effective, commercially focused campaigns across a diverse programme of live music and events.
Responsibilities will include managing the marketing team, creating and implementing marketing plans, managing campaigns from initial planning through to delivery and evaluation, and acting as the key marketing liaison with internal venue GMs, Digital Marketing Manager, external promoters, partners, artist teams and other internal / external stakeholders. The role will also oversee content creation and delivery across Tokyo Live's (TKO:LIVE) web and social platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across all channels.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the marketing of events across the Tokyo Live portfolio, developing campaigns that build audiences, maximise ticket sales and strengthen the profile of our artists, events and venues.
There will inevitably be crossover with venue marketing, with an expectation that Marketing Managers collaborate closely on larger-scale projects and campaigns, sharing knowledge, resources and ideas to deliver the strongest possible results.
This is an ideal role for an experienced live music marketer who is creative, organised and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and the live music landscape.
Main Responsibilities
- Create, implement and manage effective marketing plans for live shows and events across the Tokyo Live (TKO:LIVE) portfolio, with a clear focus on audience growth and ticket sales.
- Develop creative and engaging campaigns and content that build awareness, drive engagement and convert audiences into ticket buyers.
- Manage the end-to-end marketing campaign process, including show announcements, on-sales and ongoing campaign activity, working closely with the Ticketing Manager, Promoters and other stakeholders.
- Develop appropriate tone of voice and campaign messaging for individual events, artists and brands, ensuring communications are clear, consistent and engaging across all channels.
- Oversee Tokyo Live (TKO:LIVE) venue websites and social media platforms, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and up to date, while growing audiences through effective organic and paid activity.
- Manage digital advertising and audience development activity, including Meta, Google Ads, CRM, tracking and other relevant digital marketing tools whilst adhering to GDPR regulations.
- Produce marketing materials and content across digital and non-digital channels, including landing pages, newsletters, marketing packs, presentations and promotional assets.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, ticket sales and ROI, using data and analytics to inform future marketing activity and regularly reporting findings to the Head of Live Music.
- Manage and support the wider marketing team, providing direction and working collaboratively with colleagues, promoters, artists, partners and external agencies where required.
- Work collaboratively across Team Tokyo on larger-scale campaigns, company-wide initiatives and broader projects outside of the day-to-day live music programme, contributing marketing expertise where required.

Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within live music, entertainment, events or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategy and audience development, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of how marketing activity translates into ticket sales, audience growth and ROI.
- Experience using data and analytics to measure campaign performance and inform future marketing strategies, including Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Strong creative skills, with experience developing engaging copy, campaigns and marketing materials across digital and non-digital channels.
- Experience managing and collaborating with internal teams, creatives, external agencies, PR partners and other stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of relevant marketing platforms and tools, including CRM, Google Ads and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A proactive approach to improving processes, systems and ways of working, with the ability to identify and implement new marketing opportunities.
- A genuine passion for live music and a strong understanding of the audiences, artists and culture within the industry.
Education
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing specialisation or a related field.
Additional Information
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support shows and live content needs.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
