The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of children, young people, and adults each year. We are a not-for-profit charitable trust, so every penny goes back into benefiting the people that we support.

We are seeking 3 Community Support Workers to join our growing Salford Hub day service in Ordsall, Salford, which supports adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities.

The purpose of the role is to provide high-quality, person-centred support that meets the individuals’ needs with physical, health, emotional and social needs. You will assist in the development and maintenance of their support plans as required, along with developing positive and engaging interactions.

The Together Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people that we support and expects all of our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Hours per week – 35 hours, worked flexibly over five days (Monday to Friday).

Starting Salary £24,481.33 per year (£13.45) with biennial increments. Salary has been pro-rated from a full time equivalent of £26,230 per year based on 37.5 hours per week

Location – Ordsall, Salford

Drivers are preferred for this role. You must have a full clean licence held for more than 12 months and be aged 21 years and older.

We are seeking someone with experience of working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Conditions and learning difficulties with an awareness of their rights and needs.
Do you have experience of working in community-based projects/activities for individuals?

Can you manage difficult and challenging situations whilst maintaining high standards of care and support?
Can you make a direct positive impact on the lives of the adults, children, and their families we support?
