Full job description

Kent PHK Ltd is a well-established electrical and mechanical contracting business with nearly 40 years' experience delivering specialist infrastructure projects across the UK rail industry. Working with a prestigious client base, we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our team at our Mansfield office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and looking to develop their career within a supportive accounts team. Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role would be beneficial, although full training will be provided on our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Processing and inputting purchase invoices.

· Authorising invoices and maintaining accurate records.

· Dealing with purchase ledger queries from suppliers and colleagues.

· Allocating company credit card transactions and matching receipts.

· Providing administrative support to the Accounts team.

· General office administration, including filing and telephone duties.

· Ensuring documents are accurately filed and archived for future retrieval.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

· Strong organisational and administrative skills.

· Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner.

· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Experience with Sage 200/Construct would be beneficial, but is not essential as full in-house training will be provided.
