Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, with a strong understanding of construction principles and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, contributing to high-quality roofing solutions. Applicants should be physically fit, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent craftsmanship.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques. We install all type of roofs so any specialised knowledge is welcome.
Read and interpret technical drawings as well as client scope of works.
Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as tiles, metal sheets, and other roofing components
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on site
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase

Qualifications

CSCS card
Proven experience in roofing
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Strong understanding of construction principles related to roofing systems
Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights
Relevant certifications or training in roofing or construction disciplines preferred but not essential
Good communication skills and a commitment to safety standards

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Company van provided.
