Job Overview

Job Summary
Powder coating company requires a shotblaster @ £14 and o/t will be time and a half.

8am-5pm 40 hours per week with overtime available.

this is a permanent position.

training can be given for this position but wages will be at a negotiable rate.

Duties

Operate hand and power tools to prepare surfaces for blasting, including cleaning and painting tasks.
Perform blasting operations using appropriate techniques to achieve desired surface finishes.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience working with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving fabrication or assembly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
A proactive approach to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
