Summary

We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our Luxury Lodges! Based in, this role is vital in ensuring our visitors enjoy a spotless and enjoyable environment, reflecting our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties of our Luxury Lodges
Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Use commercial cleaning equipment and products effectively and safely.
Assist with maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
Report any maintenance or safety issues identified during cleaning activities.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Keeping a clean, organised stock room, notifying the office team when we run low on cleaning supplies, bedding etc.
Cleaning lodges to the highest standard for customers checking in.
Adhering to cleaning and maintenance checklists, and working closely alongside the office team.
Good timekeeping – you may be working to meet early check-ins with a high turnover of lodges so it is essential that deadlines can be met each day.
Well organised – all lodges have an inventory that must be accounted for.
Good communication – you will be working closely alongside the office team, you must be able to make them aware of damages, maintenance issues, and also work alongside the operations department.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work would be beneficial but not essential
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning would be beneficial but not essential
Previous experience working in a busy environment is desirable.
