Your Role

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver all aspects of a fully automated & thus self-contained end to end ERP business system transition from Syteline revision 8 to Syteline revision 10 (otherwise referenced as “Keystone”) using a fully signed off project plan with key deliverable milestones in collaboration with our JW Group IT teams. As Kea-Flex site lead for Keystone manage, deliver and train out all customizations (with particular emphasis on Bill of Manufacture, Work Centres & Resources) that are required to ensure a smooth go live with no customer disruption.
Manage and deliver all aspects of our existing Syteline 8 / Excel based planning system from it’ current state through Syteline 10 such that all aspects of our planning tools facilitate maintaining an average >98% OTIF against our promise with an average lead-time <3 weeks across the business. Ensure that within the system all resources automatically receive assigned activities, providing precise instructions relating to the customer order requirements, including any special procedures.
Manage and deliver all aspects of the existing planning system. In conjunction with your line manager and JW Group IT teams take complete ownership of all planning activities irrespective of ERP transition stage at an agreed project timeframe.
Manage and deliver all aspects of product and service costing as well as item configuration. Integrate the costing process into Syteline 10 where at all possible such that we are able to provide a formal cost estimate against all enquiries the business quotes. Assume responsibility, ownership and accountability for all costings issued internally for the business using a unique tracking identification system
Manage all aspects of site material purchases including but not limited to production raw materials & consumables. Implement an improved vendor assessment tool, purchase contracts and procedures to maximize our margin improvement opportunities.
Manage & coordinate all margin improvement initiatives of the business working closely with your colleagues implementing best practice “LEAN” techniques as part of ongoing continuous improvement activities. To work within customer driven timescales for the delivery of our commitments. To manage our customers’ expectations. Not to over promise and under deliver, but to exceed both our customer, business and shareholder expectations.
Foster excellent communication that leads to a strong customer orientated business.
Annually agree challenging yet attainable objectives for your role. Formally & informally progress work toward delivering those objectives presenting regular updates.
Be a team player cognisant of the business values and ethos.
To participate actively in the business across all disciplines with a can do attitude.
Provide an in-depth written report by the 10th of each month to your line manager.
Produce “adhoc” information for the business as needs demand
Professionally represent the business at all times fostering a positive, team orientated culture.
Continually learn & update personal & team reports knowledge by actively participating in learning events, researching, reading professional publications, & participate in both internal & external-led workshops & associated events.
Ensuring that the company complies with the JW Group authority levels policy
Assist your line manager as is necessary including other duties as are assigned.
