We are looking for an experienced Valuations Manager who is wanting to join a busy, dynamic Estate Agent based in our busy Guildford branch.

Bourne Estate Agents are a fully independent business which has quickly built up an enviable and ever-growing network of branches across Surrey and Hampshire.

Working as part of a highly successful team, you’ll be helping to deliver a market-leading service to our sellers and buyers, through outstanding customer service and business development. The role would suit an experienced Valuer who is looking for a fresh challenge or their next move into a more Senior Role. However, we are also happy to consider Senior Sales Consultants with some valuation experience who are looking for a new opportunity in a busy team.

Key responsibilities

Market Appraisals: Estimating accurate property values based on market trends, recent sales data, and property conditions.
Winning Instructions: Pitching the agency’s services to prospective vendors, agreeing on fee structures, and securing the mandate to sell.
Listing & Marketing: Organizing floor plans, taking photographs, and writing compelling property descriptions for market launch.
Business Generation: Prospecting for new leads through canvassing, networking, and following up on market intelligence.
Client Management: Building strong relationships with vendors, providing regular feedback on viewings, and advising on price adjustments if necessary.
Sales Progression: Liaising with buyers, solicitors, and surveyors to facilitate the smooth progression of a sale from offer to completion.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills or attributes:

Industry Experience: Valuation experience in residential estate agency, would consider a Senior Sales Negotiator looking to step up.
Local Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of local property values, neighborhood demographics, and competitor activity.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities to convert appraisals into instructions.
Drive & Motivation: A target-driven, self-motivated personality with a hunger to win new business.

Our remuneration package includes basic, car allowance, strong uncapped commission structure and Workplace pension scheme. Hours of work are 8.45am - 6.00pm Mon-Fri and 9am - 5pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu.
