Full job description

We are looking for an experienced event/business manager to over see our event manager team and venues.

Duties include;

-Management of team of three event managers across three venues.

-Organising and preparing managers for each function.

- Weekly spot checks of venues. To ensure they are maintained and kept tidy, clean and organised.

- Ensure managers carry out accurate stock checks and ensuring stock stores are kept organised and tidy and clean.

-Staff rotas and entertainment management ensuring the correct amount of staff is booked in per event and hirers extras are booked and organised in advance of their event date.

-Security management, make sure correct amount of security is booked per event and that they are correctly briefed by managers for each event and that they are dressed appropriately.

-To deal with equipment and maintenance issues on a weekly basis using nominated contactors..

-Complete cashing up and checking and scrutinising of staff time sheets.

-Arranging cleaners weekly when required.

-Ensuring managers keep the surrounding areas of the venues i.e car park and front clean and tidy at all times.

-Answering of the company phone and liaising with customers to ensure all their questions have been answered promptly and correctly.

- Ensuring all event details and extras are added to our booking CRM.

- Ensuring opening/closing procedures and prep Is carried out correctly and on time by venue managers.

- Submitting weekly time sheets to payroll.

- liaising with customers to ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally at all times.

- Dealing with weekly payments of subcontractor's etc.

-Making sure weekly fire alarm, cctv checks and other weekly checks are completed by venue managers and filed correctly.

- Staff management and ensuring staff are dress appropriately.

- Being on call when venues are in operation to deal with problems that may arise.

-Be organised at all times and keep a to do list.

-Constant thought on how to improve the business and customer experience.

- Work closely with the business owner.

- Ensure venues are immaculate at all times.

- Making sure staff are on time and organised.
