We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Analyst to join our ICT Team to provide high quality technical expertise across the service.
This key role will diagnose, manage and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft 365 products and will also be responsible for resolving problems relating to networks, data management and core infrastructure. The postholder will contribute to technical projects from design through implementation, testing and transition to service. Ensuring these solutions are secure, resilient and aligned with business objectives and leading the design and implementation of new technology solutions, working alongside project and service managers.
Working within the ITIL framework, you will resolve incidents and complete projects, ensuring these are accurately logged and prioritised, with relevant documentation completed and updated in accordance with procedures. You will support business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements through testing, documentation and continual improvement of recovery processes.
The postholder will need to act as the senior technical lead for complex infrastructure and cloud technologies, providing mentoring, guidance and knowledge sharing across the ICT team to improve resilience and technical capability. They will take the lead in sharing best practice, experience and their knowledge across the team and deliver excellent customer service to managers, employees and Councillors.
To apply, you will ideally have a Level 5 qualification in infrastructure management or equivalent experience, with technical and business analysis experience of supporting complex ICT systems in local government.
The successful candidate will help shape the future direction of ICT services by identifying opportunities to improve security, resilience, efficiency and user experience through technology. You will have significant experience supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies, cloud services, infrastructure platforms, networking and associated security controls.
