Full job description

KAM Automotive are looking for a trainee engine machinist to join our team in Basildon. You'll work in our in-house machine shop and learn the specialist skills involved in repairing, machining and rebuilding engine components.

You don't need prior experience; we'll teach you everything you need to know.

What you'll actually be doing:

Cylinder head skimming
Cylinder head pressure testing
Spot wear, damage and potential problems
Use specialist engine machining tools and measuring equipment to work within tolerances
Work on components from a huge variety of vehicles

You'll be learning specialist skills from people who do this work every day.
