Candidate Profile
- A recent graduate in a commercial/business related field
- A proactive mindset with a hunger to learn and grow
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage documentation, schedules, and correspondence effectively
- Confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated
- Effective communication skills for clear interaction with internal teams, clients, customers, and suppliers
- Energetic, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team
- Valid driving licence for site visits or client meetings as needed
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting

BHJ is a Danish-founded, B2B ingredient supplier operating across 13 countries, with revenues of c.£1bn and a production footprint exceeding one million tonnes annually. Part of the Lauridsen Group, BHJ processes animal co-products and ingredients for the pet food and food industries, supplying global manufacturers including Nestlé and Mars.
BHJ UK operates across two distinct but complementary business areas. The Food division specialises in the procurement of meat and poultry products for human consumption and further processing, offering a full-service model from slaughterhouse to end user. The Pet Food division focuses on delivering high-quality ingredients and solutions for major global manufacturers, underpinned by state-of-the-art facilities and genuine global expertise.
