Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Security Systems Engineer / Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of a range of electronic security systems across client sites throughout Greater London.

You should have a strong background in security systems, excellent attention to detail, and a professional approach to working with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, service and fault-find CCTV systems
Install and maintain Access Control systems
Install and maintain Door Entry and Intercom systems
Install, service and maintain Intruder Alarm systems
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Commission and test security systems to a high standard
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs
Complete installation and service documentation accurately
Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service
Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
Keep up to date with new security technologies and products

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience working with CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm systems
Strong technical and fault-finding skills
Experience with installation, commissioning and maintenance
A professional and customer-focused attitude
Good communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
A full UK driving licence is desirable
