Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Centre Attendant to join our vibrant team in Carryduff Business Park!

This role involves supervising children in a safe, engaging environment and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have confident communication skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. Previous childcare or nursery experience, along with early childhood education knowledge, will be highly valued but not required. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting, contributing positively to the community.

Responsibilities

Supervise children within the play centre, ensuring their safety at all times.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the centre, adhering to health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a welcoming environment
Assist daily operations of the play centre, including opening and closing procedures.
Assist with special events or themed days to enhance children's experience
Ensure all equipment is used safely and report any maintenance issues promptly
Uphold policies related to childcare, safety, and behaviour management

Qualifications

Experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
Demonstrated organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently.
Passionate about child development and creating a safe, fun environment for children
Barista and hospitality experience prefered but not a requirement
