Full job description

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and payroll. You'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day finances accurate and running smoothly, with real opportunity to develop your skills as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments
Manage accounts receivable, including raising sales invoices, chasing outstanding payments, and reconciling customer accounts
Review, process, and reconcile employee expense claims in line with company policy
Support the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records in Xero
Respond to internal and external finance queries in a timely, professional manner
Assist with credit control and cash flow monitoring
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks
Help identify and implement improvements to accounts processes as the business grows

What We're Looking For

2–3 years' experience in an accounts administration or similar finance role
Hands-on experience using Xero (essential)
Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to get stuck in as part of a small team
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
