Overview

Responsibilities

Oversee daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting, animal care, and equipment operation
Manage and coordinate team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Handle livestock care, including feeding, health monitoring, and habitat maintenance
Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure, including fences, irrigation lines, and storage facilities
Assist with equipment repair and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime

Skills

Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and water management techniques
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various farm tasks
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating feed rations, or adjusting irrigation settings
Experience in animal care and understanding of horticultural practices
Familiarity with maintaining farm equipment and performing routine repairs
Good communication skills for supervising team members and coordinating daily activities
