Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated weekend bar staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a lively environment, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working during weekends, making it perfect for students or those seeking flexible employment. All roles are paid positions, reflecting the value of your contribution to our team.

Duties

Serve drinks and organise orders efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the till system
Provide friendly and professional service, engaging with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
Restock supplies as needed and assist with setting up for busy periods or special events
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behaviour and managing intoxication levels
Assist in closing procedures, including cleaning work surfaces and securing cash registers

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Good time management to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
