Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive

As the largest independent retailer and installer across Norfolk and North Suffolk, we pride ourselves on exceptional design, award-winning customer service and fully managed installations.
We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive to help showcase our work, strengthen our brand and generate high-quality customer enquiries.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media channels, keeping our website fresh and helping to ensure NBK remains one of the region's leading home improvement companies.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, enjoy creating high-quality visual content and understand how digital marketing contributes to business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Social Media
- Plan and manage content across Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn .
- Create engaging posts, stories and reels.
- Photograph and film completed kitchen, bathroom and renovation projects.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content from installations and showroom activity.
- Respond to comments and messages professionally.
- Grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
Content Creation
- Produce professional photography and video content.
- Edit videos for social media and website use.
- Write engaging captions, blogs and marketing copy.
- Develop customer case studies and project features.
- Coordinate customer testimonials and reviews.
Website
- Keep the website updated with new projects and content.
- Upload blogs and optimise pages.
- Ensure imagery remains current and professionally presented.
Digital Marketing
- Assist with email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor website traffic and marketing performance.
- Support Google Business Profile updates.
- Assist with SEO improvements.
- Help manage paid social campaigns where appropriate.
Brand & Marketing
- Ensure all marketing reflects the NBK brand.
- Work with suppliers on promotional opportunities.
- Assist with showroom events and product launches.
- Help develop new marketing ideas and campaigns.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Experience editing video for social media.
- Excellent written English.
- A good understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of WordPress or similar website platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A creative eye and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently.
Experience within interiors, construction, kitchens, bathrooms or luxury retail would be advantageous but is not essential.
