About Us: Based in Rackheath near Norwich, the Seaglaze Group are a family-owned company that has been established for half a century. We employ over 70 staff across our 2 factories, manufacturing high quality, bespoke products ranging from specialised glass to products for the boat building industry.

Job Description: The Seaglaze Group is based in Rackheath and are now recruiting for Production Operatives. No experience is necessary; just a willingness to learn, be flexible and have a great work ethic. The successful candidate will be working on the shop floor producing high quality bespoke products for marine sectors and the boat building industry. Duties include; drilling, grinding and working on assembly and so a willingness to learn new things is essential.

Hours: Basic hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday with up to 10 hours overtime as needed. This position will involve working shifts between 07:00 – 20:00 with some Saturday working where customer demands are high.

Qualifications / experience:

Familiarity with operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment.
Basic understanding of quality control principles.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
You should also be good with IT technology as we have our own bespoke software.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
Commitment to health and safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
