Care Assistant

£13.45 per hour | Real Living Wage Employer | Radcliffe-On-Trent, Nottingham

Full time roles available | Shift pattern working day shifts 7am - 7pm with a 60 minute unpaid break per shift | Alternative weekend working

We are looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team. Whether you are experienced in care or looking to start a rewarding new career, we would love to hear from you.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting people living in our nursing home. You will provide practical, personal and emotional support, helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Our residents may have a range of needs, including dementia, disabilities, mental health conditions and long-term health conditions.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
Assisting with mobility and the safe use of mobility aids.
Supporting residents with eating, drinking and nutrition.
Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
Encouraging participation in activities and meaningful daily experiences.
Helping maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
Observing and reporting any changes in residents' wellbeing.
Updating care records accurately using our digital care system.
Working as part of a caring, professional team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Experience & Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
Experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial.
Willingness to complete the Care Certificate during induction.
