Are you a natural born leader with a passion for healthy whole foods and providing exceptional customer service? Do you have a zest for life and a contagious positive attitude? Then we want YOU to join our team at The Source Bulk Foods in West Hampstead as our next Deputy Store Manager!

As a Deputy Manager, you'll be supporting our store manager in the operation and management of the store. You'll ensure the smooth running of each shift, keeping the store looking spick and span, and delivering exceptional customer service to our loyal customers.

The role is full time.

What you’ll be doing:

Supervising and delegating tasks to our amazing team
Ensure everything runs smoothly by diligently performing opening and closing checklist tasks
Be the superstar of deliveries by checking them with a fine-tooth comb and recording them in our inventory management system, and following up with suppliers if there are errors. Ordering from our suppliers in the absence of the store manager
Keep our product presentation and quality standards sky-high
Keep our inventory in check by following our hygiene and product procedures
Keep the store looking tip-top by constantly monitoring its cleanliness and presentation, including the serving counter and storeroom
Keep everything sparkling clean by ensuring all tasks as described in the weekly cleaning checklist are delegated and performed by the team
Make our customers smile by providing a high level of service through clear communication and resolving any issues that arise

Must-have skills:

Be a natural born leader with a passion for healthy whole foods and The Source Bulk Foods retail brand
A passion for food & sustainability
Be a great communicator and relationship builder with excellent listening skills
Be focused on delivering exceptional service and completing tasks
Experience of working with food in a retail or hospitality environment
Experience in a similar supervisory role
Be a time management and organizing pro
Have a positive outlook and confidence that shines through in everything you do
Bring the energy and personal fitness needed to rock the store
