Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) in Kirkcaldy.

CRT provide rehabilitation to the adult population within the locality. This will be delivered to service users within their own home or as outpatients.

You will require to have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. Working with older adults within an NHS inpatient or community setting would be essential.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team you will be expected to provide assessment and treatment for a mixed caseload of mainly older people with complex needs.

You should have excellent organisational skills and be able to work independently as well as within the team.

Quality improvement work, service development involvement, supervisory skills and student mentoring would all be required. Evidence of CPD would be desirable.

There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites.

Working hours flexibly over 7 days is part of developments and current Public Holiday working is in operation.

Our service offers regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities.

The ability to travel throughout the area is essential as part of the community rehab requirement of this post.
