Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Operations Manager to lead and streamline our legal department’s processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of legal workflows, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and support the legal team in delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses strong communication skills to navigate complex legal operations seamlessly.

Duties

Manage and optimize legal department workflows, including contract lifecycle management and document organization
Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance on clerical tasks, office procedures, and team management
Oversee legal technology tools such as QuickBooks for budgeting and financial tracking related to legal operations
Coordinate with human resources to facilitate onboarding, training, and compliance initiatives for legal team members
Maintain accurate records of legal documents, correspondence, and case files with meticulous attention to detail
Serve as the point of contact for internal departments regarding legal inquiries, ensuring clear communication and prompt responses
Uphold professional phone etiquette when interacting with clients, vendors, and external partners to foster positive relationships

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a legal or administrative environment with a track record of effective team management
Extensive office experience demonstrating proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks within a fast-paced setting
Strong knowledge of human resources practices related to employee management and compliance protocols
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar financial software for managing budgets and expenses associated with legal operations
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to convey complex information clearly
Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Prior experience in a role requiring phone etiquette and professional interaction with diverse stakeholders
