About the service

The Oxon Homeless Pathway helps people move forward from homelessness by providing personalised support within an accommodation-based service. Our aim is to empower clients to build independence, sustain tenancies, and create positive futures.

We are currently recruiting an inspirational Team Manager to join the team.

About the role.

As Team Manager, you will lead and support a team of Case Workers delivering high-quality, person-centred support across the Oxon Homeless Pathway. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring clients receive effective support to move towards independent living, while maintaining excellent standards of service delivery, staff performance, safeguarding, and partnership working.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading, motivating, and developing a team of Case Workers to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Overseeing the day-to-day delivery and performance of the service.
Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered in line with contractual and organisational requirements.
Managing risk, safeguarding, and compliance across the service.
Working collaboratively with commissioners, housing providers, and partner agencies.
Monitoring service outcomes and driving continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting people to move beyond homelessness, empowering both clients and staff to achieve their full potential and build positive futures.

Contract details

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £37,751 - £41,810 per annum, dependent on experience.

Location: Role will support people across Oxfordshire, office will be in Wolvercote, Oxford.

Closing date: Friday 28th August

About you

We're looking for a dynamic and organised leader who is passionate about supporting people to move beyond homelessness and achieve independent living. You will bring experience of working with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or within homelessness services, alongside the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience of working with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or within homelessness services.
Experience of supervising, managing, and developing staff.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of service delivery.
A dynamic and proactive approach, with the confidence to lead through challenges and drive positive outcomes.
Experience of creating, updating risk assessments and/or Support planning.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
