Full job description

Duty Manager – Sport Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Duty Manager to join our team and help deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for opening and closing the centre.
Managing and supporting a small team of staff.
Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the facility.
Maintaining health & safety standards across the centre.
Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
Supporting the smooth running of activities and bookings within the facility.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous supervisory or management experience, ideally within leisure, hospitality, or customer service environments.
Be confident leading and motivating a team.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be proactive, professional, and customer-focused.
Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and shifts where required.
Hold relevant leisure or first aid qualifications (desirable but not essential).
