Kitchen Porter

Caledonian is looking for exceptional individuals aspiring to excel in the hospitality industry operating all year-round. The hotel operates fully throughout the year and would suit an experienced individual looking for a permanent role in an award winning hotel group.

Key Job Responsibilities

Keep all kitchen surfaces including counters, sinks, stoves and walls clean and sanitized.
Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
Supporting the chef in basic food preparation.
Removing kitchen waste from waste containers.
Washing dirty dishes, cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans and loading dishes into the dishwasher.
Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen.

About you

Have excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrate a can-do attitude.
Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Have excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to colleagues and customers.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to work a flexible shift pattern.
