Full job description

You're in luck as we're on the look out for enthusiastic and reliable new colleagues to complete our amazing #TeamBerrybank in Maud on a permanent part-time (16 or 20 hours per week) basis.

Our team and the individuals you'll support

You'll become part of fun and friendly team who supports six individuals, all with different support needs to live in their own homes. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same! Your main aim will be to support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including shopping, housework, finances, medication and personal care.

All of the individuals are very active and love to get out and about, so you might also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, riding adapted bikes, swimming, baking and arts & crafts.

Due to the rural location and some of the individuals we support having their own mobility cars we will need you to have a full manual, UK driving licence.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

A caring and compassionate attitude
The ability to work well in a team
Great communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, our shifts currently fall into patterns between the hours of 0900-2130 hours. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.

Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £107.60 per night.
