Job Introduction

Agincare is experiencing rapid growth, and with that comes exciting opportunities to strengthen our support teams. We’re now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Assistant to join our busy finance department and help deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services. This post can be based from either our Head Office on Portland or in Poole in our patch office.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, you’ll be responsible for processing your own payrolls from start to finish and supporting wider payroll projects. You’ll work closely with senior payroll colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of payroll operations, ensuring deadlines are met and data is accurate.

This is a great opportunity for someone at entry level who’s looking to change careers and grow their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end payroll processing for assigned payrolls
Support project-based work with senior payroll colleagues
Assist with third-party reporting including Nest, HMRC, Court Orders, and Office of National Statistics
Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism
Provide key payroll data as needed
Help maintain and improve payroll processes and documentation

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with:

Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)
Strong Excel skills and confidence with IT systems
A flexible, can-do attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands
The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team
