The Chancery Rosewood, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

As a Luggage Porter, you will play a vital role in shaping the guest experience from the very first moment of arrival to the final farewell. This role calls for someone who combines physical efficiency with genuine warmth, proactive thinking, and a deep commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities

Expertly handle and transport guest luggage with the utmost care and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guest rooms and storage areas.
Proactively assist guests with their luggage during check-in, check-out, and at any other required moment, consistently exceeding expectations and delivering a seamless experience.
Maintain the luggage storage area to the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and security, ensuring efficient and accurate access at all times.
Manage guest requests with accuracy and care, ensuring timely follow-ups and swift resolutions that uphold a consistently positive guest experience.
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across all departments, communicating clearly and proactively to ensure a unified and smooth service at every touchpoint.

About You

Influencing — You communicate with clarity, warmth, and professionalism, whether coordinating a luggage delivery with the front desk, updating a colleague on a guest's arrival, or simply reassuring a guest that their belongings are in safe hands.
Integrity — You handle guest belongings and sensitive information with the highest level of care, discretion, and accountability at all times, maintaining organised and accurate records and upholding the hotel's standards consistently whether or not you are being observed.
Drive — You bring energy, focus, and a proactive mindset to every shift, anticipating what guests need before they ask, seeing every request through to completion, and always looking for opportunities to go above and beyond the expected.
Adaptability — You remain calm, resourceful, and solution-focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, adjusting confidently to shifting priorities, peak periods, and the diverse and varied needs of an international guest profile without compromising on service quality.
