Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the till with precision.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Engage with customers in a warm and welcoming manner to enhance their overall experience.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred to ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour that fosters positive customer interactions.
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting.
